In 2020, I participated in Rutgers Geology Museums's "Ask a Geologist" web series. This online series presents various geological topics aimed at children and the general public, and it provides a question and answer session at the end of the presentation. Viewers can email their questions, post them in the online chat, or fill out a form available on the website! It is great fun for all ages. See the current schedule here and tune in here.

Making geology and science accessible to all and recognizing those who have been marginalized should be a priority for every privileged scientist. I try to make small contributions by acknowledging and alleviating biases when I see them. Some of the ways I am try to do that include:
